Daniel Antebi — Biography and Contact

About

Originally from Mexico, grew up in Washington DC, and now in NYC. Daniel’s debut feature film God’s Time premiered at the Tribeca Festival 2022. It was then distributed by IFC in theaters and later streamed on Hulu.

His short film A Dios earned him a 2019 Sundance Ignite Fellowship, and he was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film 2020.” His short film Soft was an official selection of the 2020 SXSW Film Festival. It explores Daniel’s sexual assault and queerness. It is the basis for his feature script On the Mat. The script was awarded the SFFILM Rainin Grant and participated in the Sundance Screenwriters Intensive and Sundance Catalyst.

Daniel is also one half of the directing duo: MIRA.

Daniel also directs fashion films, music videos, and commercials. And also—and as well—he is an editor at cartel.tv.
